Policies

A deposit of one night’s stay is required.

Children of all ages are welcome.  Children under 14 staying in bedrooms with parents, sleeping in an additional bed, will incur a supplement. Travel cot and high chair are available for babies and there may be a small charge for special requirements such as heating bottles and baby food.  Please telephone to discuss your needs.  

Well behaved dogs are welcome subject to room availability ( Cleaning charge applicable currently £ 5 per night).

St. Vincent House is no-smoking inside the house.

Any Guests needing to cancel their booking will be offered re booking for a later date but no refund of the deposit will be given.

Booking Terms:

 


A non refundable deposit,equal to the first night booking is required to reserve the room,with the balance paid on arrival.In the case of bookings cancelled within 7 days or less of the proposed arrival,unless we are able to re-let the room at the same rate,the total cost of the accommodation will be charged.


We recommend the appropriate insurance is taken out,especially for longer stays.
No deduction is made for temporary absence, meals not taken, or departure earlier than booked.  We will always endeavour to allocate guests into their requested rooms but this is not guaranteed if we are unable to do so due to unforeseen circumstances.



St.Vincent House is a completely non smoking property,and if ignored we will charge £100 for deep cleaning and to cover the time a room is unusable whilst waiting for the smoke pollution to disappear.  By entering into this contract you are authorising us to make the charges as detailed above to the card without any additional consent being required
Check in time is from 3 pm. but we would appreciate you letting us know if you anticipate arriving after 6pm.
Check out time is by 10.30am.


Access

Access to St. Vincent House is by 3 Steps to the front door.  We have a ground floor room. Guests with disabilities should telephone to discuss their requirements.  We do not wish to restrict access to any guests but the restrictions of our Grade II listed building may require assistance to be given for some guests which, of course, will be available when required if individual needs are known.

Special diets

A variety of special dietary requirements can be accommodated at St. Vincent House.  It is very difficult to obtain Kosher or Halal meals without considerable notice but a vegetarian option is always available.
